How to save money on housing, office, or meeting space via mutual aid


A - Invite a very generous person to share living or working space with you

B - Pay MAN hours for rent, create a live/work arrangement, make an informal swap of meeting space for something in exchange

C - Use a Common Good card or cashless credit with your local housing cooperative or other property-holder who will accept it

D - Create or borrow from the Common Fund to get land, housing, or other building spaces. If your project serves the common good you might find donors to help fund this in exchange for social or environmental, rather than financial, returns.

F - You know the drill, get a f'ing job. And don't forget to ask for help when you need it!

How to save money on food via mutual aid


A - Work on a shared garden space, create or use a little free pantry, make a Stone Soup-style shared meal

B - Pay MAN hours to someone to cook for you, pay hours for ingredients, swap food or other things for food

C - Use a Common Good card or cashless credit for food from businesses, including home businesses

D - Borrow from the Common Fund to get land or other food access infrastructure, get emergency funding for food if needed. Create a buying club to buy in bulk and save money, share trips to the cheaper, farther, better food source.

F - You know the drill, get a f'ing job. And don't forget to ask for help when you need it!
